What is Chomp ?
CHOMP represents the future of smart cooking — an intelligent, immersive food assistant that blends AI, XR, and intuitive interaction. It is designed for people who want effortless cooking, healthier habits, and hands-free guidance. The brand stands for innovation, simplicity, and empowerment through technology, making everyday cooking accessible and enjoyable for everyone.t
Design Process
The design process began with understanding how people struggle with cooking, multitasking, and managing ingredients, aiming to create an assistant that feels intelligent, seamless, and easy to trust.
Research focused on analyzing user pain points in home cooking, existing recipe apps, and limitations of screen-based guidance. This led to designing an XR-first system that brings information directly into the user’s field of view. The interface was crafted to be minimal, clear, and layered intuitively, allowing users to scan ingredients, follow step-by-step instructions, and receive AI-powered alerts without breaking their flow. The visual system focused on soft tech aesthetics—clean typography, subtle glows, and functional icons optimized for spatial environments. Voice interaction was integrated as a core element to enable hands-free control, while AI-driven logic personalized cooking steps based on available ingredients and dietary needs. Prototypes were built to simulate the experience on XR glasses, ensuring smooth transitions, comfortable readability, and real-time responsiveness.
Goal
The goal was to build an intelligent cooking companion that simplifies the entire cooking experience by using XR and AI to deliver real time, hands free, and highly personalized guidance.
Result
The final outcome delivered an intuitive and futuristic XR cooking assistant that felt clear, intelligent, and effortless to use.
CHOMP’s branding and interface design came together to create a seamless cooking experience where users could interact hands free, receive personalized guidance, and follow recipes directly in their field of view.
